Public Safety Day and Be Safe Saturday is a family-friendly event where our community members will be able to learn, discover, and engage with their local public safety agencies to see what it takes to keep Southern Arizona safe.

There will be fire engines, ladder trucks, ambulances, police vehicles, SWAT, K-9s, drones, and helicopters on hand, as well as educational presentations, various demonstrations and safety information. There will also be a free car seat check as well as a limited supply of free booster seats. This event will also include interagency competitions such as a basketball-shot challenge, timed turnout contests, and vehicle extrications.

Just inside the mall will be TMC’s Be Safe Saturday is focused on children’s safety.  There will be around 40 vendors offering information on children’s safety as well as free bike helmets.
